What You Will Do:
The Role
The Associate Cloud Implementation Analyst will work under our subsidiary company, Galen Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Galen is an award-winning healthcare IT technical & professional services and solutions company providing highly-skilled, cross-platform expertise. We have partnered with specialty practices, hospitals, health information exchanges, health systems and integrated delivery networks to provide high-quality, expert level IT consulting services & solutions including strategy, data archiving, data migration, optimization, project management, and interoperability. Responsibilities:
· Oversee migration of client’s on-premise data to the cloud
· Communicate with clients and coordinate activities with their engineers (or IT teams)
· Provide updates on project progress; address client or project manager inquiries
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
· Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies
· Ensure that the cloud environment is optimized for performance and cost
· Manage multiple projects, across a wide array of clients
· Establish strong relationships with co-workers and clients
· Provide exemplary customer service by understanding and resolving issues quickly
· Participate in information internal training as part of ongoing team improvement
· Work with internal stakeholders to improve current processes
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Desire to solve challenging technical problems
· Self-starter who wants to learn, grow, and excel in their role
· Basic knowledge of SQL query language
· Proficient in handling various data formats, with an emphasis on structured text files.
· Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is a plus
· Basic scripting and coding skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
· Understanding of basic networking fundamentals
· Familiarity and working knowledge of patient clinical EHRs, patient financial systems and non-patient systems such as HR/Payroll, Materials Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable systems is a plus
· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or related field
