The Workday Associate Manager (AMS post-production, configurations) leads a team, or teams, of functional configuration consultants that are aligned to their client portfolio, and is responsible for ensuring timely execution of ongoing client deliverables and consulting with clients on services and Workday functionality. They develop solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients. The primary focus of this position is to provide a proactive interface between external clients and the internal functional configuration consultants to ensure effective delivery. The Workday Associate Manager is responsible to ensure hour/resource goals aligned in client deal models are met.

  • Assists sales team in functional area of expertise. This may include, but is not limited to, participation in sales calls, development of sales sheets, assistance with estimation, as needed.

  • Responsible for overall delivery of team within the functional area of expertise and escalation point for clients.

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.

  • Understands impact to multiple domains and workstreams

  • Operates independently and with initiative according to established standards and principles.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline

  • Workday certified in HCM or another module required

  • Workday certified in HCM and/or Financials as well as on-going successful recertification is a requirement

  • 3 to 5 plus years previous experience implementing and/or configuring Workday HCM or another module

  • Prior experience may include PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro or other SaaS software solutions

  • Recognizes and tackles difficult conversations proactively. Strong soft skills that facilitate resolution and win-win approach

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages

  • Proven consultative skills to guide client discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner

  • Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change

  • Proven experience working creatively and analytically in a dynamic environment

  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and escalates as appropriate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including clear articulation of complex messages and requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction

  • Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas by leveraging available trainings and Workday documentation

  • Travel up to 50%

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

87,000 USD

Maximum :

138,200 USD
