Key responsibilities:

  • Define product position & marketing strategies that generate sales of innovative and technically complicated products.

  • Create product value for existing products by developing new markets and differentiating DSM products from competitive commodity products.

  • Participate in the development and execution of the New Business Development customer action plans.

  • Support Marketing Plan of Action by working directly with assigned salesperson(s) to develop a plan for targeted influencers and work to provide professional support to targeted and key accounts. Implements and completes targeted plans. Responsible for joint communication between sales and technical services for assessment progress.

  • Assist with attaining new business by overcoming customer blockages and initiating the prospect to order process through technical persuasion and sales support

    This position is a US Home-based role. You must currently reside in the central or mountain time zones of the United States. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided. Salary $137,500-$171,800.

    You bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of animal nutrition industry experience in a technical/scientific role required, with strong preference for experience in a beef production/industry environment

  • Ability to translate scientific knowledge to commercial applications along with the ability to discuss and explain complex technical information to a broad range of individuals from business management to production and farm managers, from scientists and academicians to students and the general public

  • Sales or marketing experience a definite plus

  • Experience with ruminant gut health nutritional products desirable

  • Ability to influence key decision-makers who drive internal objectives which impact the key areas of accountability.

  • PhD in Animal Nutrition/Beef Nutrition with a strong preference for beef nutrition focus
