Candidates should demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence in courses related to agricultural economics and agribusiness management; the potential to obtain funding that supports research published in leading peer-reviewed scholarly journals; expertise in the use of quantitative research methods for economics and business and interest in using quantitative analysis to address issues in the food and agribusiness value chain; and willingness to engage with the food and agribusiness industry. Candidates hired at the level of associate professor will have demonstrated evidence of the above qualifications.

Salary and Appointment: Competitive, based on qualifications and rank. Starting salary is in the range of \$115,000-\$135,000 at the assistant professor level and \$135,000-155,000 at the associate professor level. The initial appointment is expected to be 40% teaching, 50% research, and 10% academic leadership/service. This position is a full-time, nine-month tenure track faculty appointment, with the possibility of summer appointment.

Start Date: The anticipated starting date for the position is August 16, 2025.

Application: To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by 6:00 pm (CST) on December 4, 2024, but applications will be accepted until a candidate for hire is identified.
