JOB SUMMARY:
The dispatcher will collaborate with customers and internal employees as needed to efficiently and effectively dispatch vehicles assigned to the centralized dispatch operation. This position will monitor routing of drivers to ensure efficient use of CRS delivery fleet. It will be part of the daily flow of work to plan for time-sensitive deliveries, oversee ordering of permits for deliveries and pickups, track driver logs, track pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance by keeping record of medical cards and CDLs for all drivers. The dispatcher is responsible for quoting deliveries and pickups for equipment freight both locally and nationally. This individual will oversee proper account coding of all outside freight invoices and send to accounts payable in a timely manner. It is imperative to understand permit rules and regulations to ensure compliance with the Department of Transportation always.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Three years’ experience with equipment or other related industry preferred.
Previous leadership experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
