Position Title: Registered Nurses (Certified by National Board)

Background: Excellence Staffing and Global, an employment, workforce development and training provider, has initiated a Foreign Workforce Service (FWS) to address the shortage of nurses across hospitals in Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

**Note FWS team works across Liberia, Kenya, and Nigeria to recruit and screen qualified nurses.  

Goal of the Position: Please see below:

Role and responsibilities: Candidates will perform the following responsibilities in line with the program:

• Observe and record patient behavior
• Perform physical examination and diagnostic tests
• Collect patiet health history
• Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment options
• Administer medication, change wound dressings, and care for other treatment options
• Read and interpret information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
• Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
• Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides.
• Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes

Qualification: Candidates must have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any of the sciences
• At least 2 years of experience working in hospital setting
• Must be Nationally Board Certified.
• Must be organized, kind, and considerate
• Must be willing to cope with anxiety
• Outstanding interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport and meet all travel requirements by the U.S, Consulate in home country and the U.S. laws.
• Must demonstrate and/or show proof of "host family" in Delaware or Philadelphia Counties, Pennsylvania upon arrival in the United States.  

• Must demonstrate willing to evaluate credential and subject Board Certification to the PA Board of Nursing.
