    What you’ll do as a Project Analyst, IT

  • Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones.

  • Determine database structural requirements by analyzing operations, applications, and programming; review objectives with clients; evaluate current systems.

  • Develop database solutions by designing proposed systems, defining database physical structure and functional capabilities.

  • Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculate optimum values for parameters; complete maintenance; answer user questions.

  • Provide database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

  • Work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to deliver identified reporting solutions in a timely manner.

  • Assist in financial system implementations.

  • Assist end users with the functional operation of company-provided hardware and software.

  • Generate special ad hoc and data mining reports for management as required.

  • Develop and maintain documents to assist with project tasks from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.

  • Document and execute steps to support repetitive tasks.

  • Perform comprehensive analysis utilizing multiple data sets.

  • Troubleshoot problems to improve overall data quality and systems use.

  • Maintain and update existing reports in Google Sheets.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older.

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.

  • Expertise in database design, maintenance, and management is a must.

  • Advanced Excel and VBA skills are a must.

  • Effective technical skills with proficiency in data analysis; SQL a plus.

  • Experience with large projects including system upgrades and implementation.

  • Ability to develop documentation for testing, training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and meet required project deadlines.

  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a tightly knit professional team environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing relevant skills as described in above description.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Positive attitude and drive to learn new technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to preserve confidentiality.

  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to self-manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal direction.

    Salary Range $43,697 - $93,512/ year (D.O.E)
