eQube Integration and Business Intelligence Developer 3

The eQube Developer researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide interfaces and reports using eQ Technologic tools. Involved in the planning of system and development deployments as well as responsible for adhering to software compliance standards. Evaluates interfaces between systems, provides rough order of magnitude estimates, and supports all required operational requirements. Documents solutions, test use cases, and all required reporting/status updates.

Primary accountabilities are associated with eQube reporting (BI) and integration (MI) development, guidance, and support for Northrop Grumman business units. Performs developmental plus support for all eQube solutions for enterprise programs and projects. Ensures proactive focus on details of complex solutions to ensure highly successful implementations. Able to effectively deal with challenges from a base technical to a high complexity perspective. Engage with all eQube planning activities, as required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, development, code reviews, testing, implementation, and knowledge sharing of eQube BI/MI solution customizations and upgrades.

  • Root cause analysis, debugging problems with the eQube BI/MI solutions and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes.

  • Monitor, address, and resolve production eQube BI/MI solution incidents, reports, interfaces, collaboratively with the other development and administration teams.

  • Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities with business partners and end users, as required.

  • Support the mentoring, training, and/or demos for eQube BI/MI solutions to end-users, as required.

  • Support business readiness and change management activities through go-live and production implementations.

  • Involved in planning of system and development deployments, as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

  • Develop and maintain technical, installation guidelines, and operational guideline documents.

  • Primary locations Redondo Beach CA., Melbourne FL., Irving TX., and Roy UT.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 Years of experience with Bachelor's degree OR 3 Years with Masters OR 0 Years with PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.

  • Knowledge with relational databases, Java, XML, and JSP

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access.

  • Experience with system-to-system integrations using REST services, APIs, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices, etc.

  • Experience with enterprise application integration, federation, and orchestration.

  • Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting using object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, C++, C#).

  • Work and lead effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country.

  • Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.

  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.

  • Experience programming in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Perl).

  • Experience developing in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Experience with eQube reporting and integration development tools.

Salary Range: $97,500 - $146,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
