JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State IT is seeking a Workday Advanced or Senior Professional for the ongoing development and enhancement of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), specializing in Talent Management functionality including Skills, Mentoring, Succession Planning, Performance Reviews, etc.

The position is fully remote within the United States. Standard working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the eastern time zone. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

The successful candidate's primary responsibilities are: Recommend, configure, and optimize Workday HCM and Talent Management solutions to align with business requirements, enhance system functionality, and drive process improvements. Proactively anticipate and plan for Workday HCM and Talent Management module enhancements based on a deep understanding of the organization's strategic initiatives and industry best practices. Stay actively engaged with the Workday community, attending events, webinars, and training to stay ahead of emerging trends and share knowledge with business stakeholders. Leverage expertise to design and implement innovative, creative solutions to complex HCM-related challenges.

Qualifications This position minimally requiresaBachelor'sdegreeor higherplus3+yearsofrelevant experienceoran equivalent combination of education and experience. Higher levelpositionsrequireadditionaleducationand experience. Essential skills and experience: Comprehensive Workday HCM product knowledge to design and recommend end-to-end solutions in Workday Experience with Business Process Configuration, Calculated Fields, Basic reporting, and Calculation Engine is necessary Ability to work independently on complex or strategic assignments Ability to identify how solutions in HCM will impact other Workday functionality, ie, payroll Ability to easily identify solutions/services that support and optimize best practices in Workday HCM and Talent Management Agile experience using Scrum and/or Kanban methodology with Jira Exceptional critical thinking skillsand analytical abilities Ability to estimate length of time needed to complete work Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with system stakeholders Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external teamsand stakeholders Ability to facilitate detailed discussions and give presentations about Workday functionality Strong technical abilities in Microsoft Office Ability to use reporting tools and analyze data

Preferred experience: 5-6 years of Workday experience Advanced knowledge of Talent Management Workday module and HCM Workday Pro Certification

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $68,200.00 - $115,100.00
