JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Coalition Check-Up Project at The Pennsylvania State University, headed by Dr. Sarah Chilenski, is seeking to fill a short-term Researcher position (six months) with a preferred start date of February 1, 2025.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the NIH-funded study investigating the implementation of the Coalition Check-Up, a coalition-level randomized trial testing the efficacy of a new data-focused, relationship-based, and coalition-driven technical assistance system for community prevention coalitions. Additional research questions regarding coalition operations, including factors that are associated with meeting proximal and distal goals, are also encouraged. There may be opportunities for collaboration and grant writing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Statistical analysis and paper writing
Managing datasets
Publishing first-author and co-authored scientific articles
Serving as program coordinator for projects as needed
Supervising students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars, as needed
Aiding in human subject protocols, consent forms, and annual IRB approval, as needed
Typically requires a Ph.D. degree plus two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication skills, writing and statistical skills.

This is a six-month term appointment, and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
