JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions to teach the Department's University Park courses throughout Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Fall 2025 semesters.
The responsibilities include:
providing program instruction for our in person courses and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas)
incorporating innovative teaching methodologies
engaging in classes
designing course material and assessments
providing personalized and substantive feedback
A conferred Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is preferred. Applicants with a masters degree and related experience will be considered. Previous experience is preferred. These will be part-time positions, applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arise.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
