JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
School of theatre is seeking to hire up to six (6) work-study students to perform the job of Theatre Ushers for all School of Theatre Penn State Center Stage Performances for the 2022/23 AY.
MUST BE AVAILABLE Weeknights and weekends. Benefits include getting to see all School of Theatre Penn State Centre Stage shows for free.
Duties will include:
Ensure a high quality of customer service Be the point of contact for customer enquiries Ensure the safety of all audience members Welcome the audience into the building Guide audience members in the right direction Attend to automated ticket scanning station at point of entrance Ensure the front of house area looks presentable and tidy at all times
Hours per week will vary, all hours will be worked nights and weekends. Approximate hours per shift - 4. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
