JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Transportation Services, a unit within Auxiliary and Business Services, is hiring an Event Parking Supervisor to serve as a member of its event parking operations team, which supports over 120 events a year, including concerts, sporting events, theater performances, student arrival and departure, commencement, community events, and more. Reporting to the Event Parking Manager, the Event Parking Supervisor will supervise all in-lot event parking activities, train and supervise event parking staff, set up and tear down event signage and equipment, work with University Police to coordinate traffic movement, maintain equipment and permit inventories, direct event related enforcement activities, and assist with various administrative tasks related to event parking operations. This position will schedule full and part-time Penn State staff and third-party staff for events.
Education and Experience:
Minimum requirement is an Associate's degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisor experience is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift and load equipment weighing up to 50 pounds into a vehicle
Experience serving customers from diverse backgrounds
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Additional Information:
The typical work schedule will be 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, but will vary based on event needs.
With motor vehicle operation required in this position, a valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$42,100.00 - $61,000.00
