JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Biobehavioral Health (BBH) in the College of Health and Human Development is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our administrative team as the Academic Program Coordinator for our undergraduate programs.

Job Responsibilities:

Schedule courses and classrooms (LionPATH, 25Live Optimizer).

Assist the undergraduate professor-in-charge with the compilation of faculty teaching assignment surveys and teaching assignments.

Process CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management System (CIM) course and program proposals.

Manage Student Educational Experience Questionnaire (SEEQ) for courses.

Provide course assistance, including assisting with exams,scheduling conflict exams and proctor assignments, Teaching Assistant (TA) assignments, submitting textbook orders, Manage One-Semester Course Titles, Drop/add, grade changes, deferred grades, course controls, final exam conflicts; and collecting syllabi.

Communicate with faculty, staff, advisers, parents, and students; respond to inquiries related to individual courses, degree requirements, or the overall academic program.

Assist with course evaluations.

Assist with student registrations (LionPATH).

Support the daily operational functions of the BBH undergraduate program.

Create and maintain confidential files, databases, and reports.

Compose written communication and proofread correspondence.

Schedule/maintain a calendar of appointments and meetings.

Coordinate and participate in various committee meetings, and record and transcribe minutes.

Communicate with students to promote program-specific opportunities, including workshops, organizations, internships, and career development opportunities; collaborate with faculty, advisors, and staff to develop marketing materials.

Support BBH with events and other duties as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

This position offers multiple levels of entry based on the candidate's qualifications and experience: Support Level, Intermediate Support Level, and Senior Support Level. At minimum requires a High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher-level jobs

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 systems(Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)

Knowledge of standard office procedures

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Success in an office environment where organizational skills are crucial to be effective

Interest in le rning job-related software

Experience with higher education software systems such as LionPATH, 25Live Optimizer,CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM), Student Educational Experience Questionnaire (SEEQ) or equivalent database and workflow systems.

Ability to be detail-oriented

Ability to work with a high level of professionalism both independently and as a member of a team

Demonstrates a genuine appreciation for working with diverse populations

Additional Information:

Typical working hours are on-site, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.This position will be considered for a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work after a six month on-site training period. Flexible work arrangements can be discussed after a six-month in-office training period.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $34,800.00 - $61,000.00
