Seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Manager, Finance Transformation to join our Studio Finance Transformation Team. Reporting to the Vice President, Studio Finance Transformation, this role will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that integrate new technologies (i.e. AI), foster innovation, optimize processes, and establish best practices within Studio Group Finance function. The ideal candidate will bring a strong financial acumen along with a blend of technical expertise and proactive approach to driving innovation in a dynamic environment. You will lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects focused on transforming finance functions, optimizing financial systems, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Closely collaborate with finance senior management and business unit leadership teams to evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization.
Champion the use and integration of new tools and advanced analytics to drive better business insights, enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making.
Develop new financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to support business objectives. Drive implementation of best practices in modeling, reporting, data analysis, and process design.
Facilitate and manage complex financial projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Assist with change management.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in finance. Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies for cost/benefit potential.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA, PMP) preferred but not required.
5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills in addition to strong attention to detail and solid critical thinking.
Desired Characteristics:
Working knowledge of SAP ECC and S4 HANA/AoE/BPC/SAC/PowerBi
Media/Entertainment experience
Competence in modern financial tools and techniques, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable business insights.
Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
