  • Advise internal clients, including management and human resources, regarding union contract compliance for assigned bargaining units and/or assigned topics

  • Advise internal clients regarding discipline of union employees, including cause standards, as applicable, investigations and rights to union representation

  • Responsible for handling union grievances, through pre-arbitration phase, as assigned

  • Initial point of contact for union inquiries; triage, research, respond and resolve as assigned

  • Support and execute union contract administration

  • Support collective bargaining, including preparation, research, contract implementation and drafting as assigned

  • Provide training to HR and managers on assigned topics

  • Provide additional support to labor & employment department as assigned

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant labor relations experience

  • Proficiency with web-based databases and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel & Power Point

  • Solid administrative skills, attention to detail, and organization

  • Ability to manage high-volume and time-sensitive workload

  • Ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and working with contracts

  • Ability to work independently with legal, business, and HR teams

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible).
