The Film & TV Studio group is looking for a Data Analyst, an integral member of the Studio Distribution team. This role is responsible for gathering and visualizing data to assist with strategic decision making. This business-facing individual will work closely with the Fulfillment, Content Management and Film/Television Distribution groups and meet with their various departments to identify opportunities to improve business processes.
Requirement gathering from both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Find, consolidate and clean data from disparate sources
Create visualizations to describe data and tell a story
Present findings and/or explain data analysis to stakeholders
Provide recommendations for strategic business decisions
Serve as a subject matter expert for acquiring data from source systems
Create and manage internal project documentation and process diagrams
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience developing analytics solutions for business problems
Experience writing/reading complex SQL
Experience using Python for data analysis (pandas, API calls, etc…)
Experience using Tableau, PowerBI or any other visualization tool
Ability to build easily digestible data visualizations
Ability to build and present visually appealing PowerPoint presentations
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to create logical frameworks to understand an unstructured problem statement
Ability to work both in the abstract at a high level and get into the details
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to ask appropriate and relevant questions to further business objectives
Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience presenting in front of a large audience and executive leadership
Experience with change management and/or consulting
Experience/interest in Content Distribution and Supply Chain
Experience in the global media & entertainment industry.
Demonstrate excellent time-management skills & results driven focus.
Demonstrate ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000
