This position is a remote working role and MUST be located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. Candidates that are not located in these time zones will not be considered.
What You Will Do:
Negotiate and contract between 90-115 programs worldwide on an annual basis, however, the scope of this position is dependent upon assigned account/programs and may vary from client-to-client.
Cultivate a strong working relationship with the client by effectively communicating details of the program, anticipating client’s needs, and providing an elevated level of customer service.
Meet with clients to discuss the vision of their event and hotel/venue wish list.
Expertly RFP the perfect properties for your client.
Proficient in negotiations to obtain the best deal for the client.
Remain the point person for the hotel and client throughout the contracting process, ensuring the contract is completed with a cherry on top.
Possess organizational skills to orchestrate logistics with finesse and have an interest in keeping every detail under control.
Skilled at establishing relationships. Cultivate positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and teammates, creating a network of invaluable connections.
Creative, proactively anticipate changes, and build innovative solutions.
Coordinate and attend global site inspections when needed.
Act as the executive producer of all event specifics and requirements.
Develop and handle budgets by auditing all program related billing for accuracy, tracking, and reporting expenses to clients and communicating changes on a consistent basis.
Post event reconciliation and evaluation is the final mission on each program.
What We’re Looking For:
Venue sourcing & meeting planning experience over the last 3-5 years.
Incredible communication skills to articulate vision, inspire, and motivate.
Highly motivated at meeting timeline expectations.
Self-starter, love to laugh, and manage the journey.
Problem-solving mind that can handle any unexpected twist.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Possess organizational superpowers.
Travel is your passion and you are excited to head to destinations worldwide (up to x%).
4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Vase experience with Cvent and are not afraid of technology!
Passion for providing unparalleled levels of hospitality and consultative service.
Passion for creating presentations.
CMP preferred, but not expected.
Must be located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone

United States
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
