Job Description

Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist - M SK Nassau

Join our Radiology team atMSK Nassau! We are seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist for M SK Nassau , our freestanding outpatient facility, located in Uniondale, NY. This site allows us to offer the most-advanced cancer care services closer to home for patients residing in Nassau & Queens, NY counties.

Role Overview:

• Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager and also under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while applying his/her technical ability independently.

• Interact and collaborate in a positive way with all other staff members at MSKCC.

  Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma. Graduated from an approved Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) School of Ultrasound is required.

• ARDMS registered in Breast & RVT required,

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; Prostate imaging experience a plus.

  Additional Information:

• Location: MSK Nassau, in Uniondale, Long Island.

• Schedule: Weekday f lexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays & Sundays availability a plus. Possible holidays, as needed

• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

  Pay Range : $60.00-$65.00/hr.
