Our client, a leading food safety solutions provider, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their growing Validation team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be a key part of the team ensuring the accuracy and reliability of their rapid testing kits. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong multi-tasker, and passionate about quality control in the food industry.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Union, MO

What's the Job?

• Conduct daily validations of lateral flow device (LFD) test kits on various food commodities like grains and animal feed ingredients.

• Analyze samples according to test kit instructions and established protocols.

• Interpret analytical data and ensure compliance with established timelines.

• Enter and review data, maintaining strict quality control procedures.

• Perform lab bench work including solution preparation, sample preparation, and equipment maintenance.

What's Needed?

• College coursework in a science-related field (preferred).

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science field (a plus).

• Prior laboratory experience (preferred).

• Knowledge of quality-related regulations (e.g., GMP).

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
