Production Supervisor
Job Description
The Production Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to Team Managers and Production Department employees. This role requires strong technical and mechanical skills, along with a commitment to coaching and fostering a positive culture. The supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and coach Production Team Managers and employees.
Manage daily production activities and resolve issues.
Collaborate with department and plant managers to meet production goals.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
Oversee training, development, and performance management of employees.
Plan and manage the production department budget.
Foster a positive work environment and uphold company values.
Essential Skills
Minimum of five years in a production environment or a bachelor's degree.
At least two years of proven leadership experience.
Strong analytical skills and advanced technical aptitude for machinery.
Mechanical aptitude for hand tools.
Ability to engage with diverse personalities and promote teamwork.
Effective communication skills in English or willingness to take ESL classes.
Sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment
The work environment involves standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods. Employees may need to crouch, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms. The position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and involves lifting or moving up to 65 lbs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67000.00 - $95000.00
