Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package. Pay is hourly with expected first year earnings between $62,400 - $68,640 / year. This is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Supplier Billing Clerk is responsible for the collection of supplier billing accounts as well as processing all chargeback paperwork (manual and automated) send to the supplier.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clarify problems or issues presented by suppliers to facilitate collections on their behalf

• Compile month-end billing of; backups and send to BSG for final processing

• Process month-end interfaces for all automated bill back

• Process supplier quantity and financial depletions

• Track monthly supplier bank recaps

• Process incentive payouts for payroll and bill back and track individual sales payouts

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience

• Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives

• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas

• Prior accounting/collection experience

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device

• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
