Description
We are seeking a skilled an Accounting Manager to support our rapidly expanding networking and cybersecurity company by facilitating smooth and efficient business operations. The Accounting Manager will be part of a 2-person finance team reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance. This is a very hands-on role where you will handle all AP, AR, GL maintenance, monthly close and production of financial statements. My client doubled their revenue from 2022 to 2023 and continues its rapid growth. Role Objectives:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to provide accurate tracking of the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle, including monthly closure.
Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
Maintain the general ledger.
File sales taxes with appropriate authorities.
Code invoices, establish new accounts, reconcile accounts, and finalize the monthly books.
Conduct at least monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, verifying deposits and addressing inquiries from banks.
Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts. Manage accounts receivable collections.
Verify and/or process payment of invoices related to accounts payable, ensuring payments are allocated to the correct accounts.
Work with auditors on audits and tax accountants on tax return preparation.
Stay updated on acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with full accounting cycle.
Knowledge of NetSuite (preferred) and Microsoft Excel software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent active listening, presentation, and communication skills.
Self-starter
