Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various aspects of our production facility. The role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to equipment breakdowns. You will start on the first shift for at least three months to familiarize yourself with the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all aspects of the production facility.

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs (training provided on electrical).

• Conduct preventative maintenance and work on 1st shift for at least three months.

• Maintain and repair machinery including automated machinery, mill machines, compression machines, conveyors, industrial washers and dryers, mixer machines, injection mold machines, presses, dies, CNC machines, hydraulic presses, and vacuum pumps.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete work orders as scheduled.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

• Work with hydraulic pumps and proxy switches.

• Perform facilities maintenance and installations as needed (excluding painting, plumbing, janitorial tasks).

• Follow all safety guidelines.

• Work on technical machine products and Engle presses.

• Handle electrical tasks involving 240V, 277V, and 480V systems.

• Log and record preventative maintenance in the system.

• Utilize computer skills for presses and Siemens PLCs.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Experience with hydraulics.

• Comfortable working around industrial electricity (training provided).

• Strong troubleshooting ability on industrial equipment.

• Possess basic tools (specialty tools provided).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs.

• Experience in rubber, plastics, or extrusion.

• Welding experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr.
