    What you’ll do as Lead Safety

  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of all employees within your assigned systems

  • Responsible for ensuring Drive Cam review is completed daily

  • Responsible for ensuring the company’s Safety Program is being followed in the system.

  • Ensure that each system possesses the proper safety equipment and is using this equipment appropriately and reports concerns immediately to local operations management and the Safety Director.

  • Ensure regular PPE and vehicle inspections are occurring for each system

  • Provide necessary training to Cable Technicians on all safety procedures relating to their job

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, Job Safety Observations (JSO), and Gate Checks, at systems and submit reports to the local and regional management team

  • Participate in all vehicular and worker's compensation investigations and occasional General Liability investigations

  • Provide required updates to the national safety leadership team weekly

  • Weekly safety meetings are occurring, and proper documentation is being filed, such as attendance rosters in all cases

  • Participate in weekly/monthly Safety conference calls

  • Ensure each location is properly maintaining and posting required OSHA logs

  • Perform required monthly office inspections and provide documentation to the national safety leadership team

  • Provide timely/immediate updates of any unsafe work acts to the national safety leadership team.

  • Ensure systems comply with their customer’s requirements when conducting field JSOs

  • Provide weekly feedback on JSO’s inspections

  • Interact with system supervision and management to emphasize areas of need from inspection quality issues in the field

  • Establish a fair rotation of inspections to ensure all installers are being checked every month

  • Hold training classes when necessary, this may include travel to another location

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • You must have the ability to effectively deal with other people, especially other company personnel, to enlist needed cooperation in implementing regulatory requirements

  • You must be able to deal with regulatory agencies, consultants, and other contractor personnel

  • You must have excellent technical writing skills for the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs

  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office software with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access

  • This role will require travel to other locations up to 50% for training
