Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Tustin, California. The primary function of this role involves analyzing and reconciling balance sheets, processing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The Sr. Accountant will also be expected to contribute to the efficiency of our month-end close cycle and provide assistance in the preparation of data for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the timely and accurate processing of journal entries.

• Conduct intricate monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements by reconciling general ledgers.

• Verify and analyze business records, transactions, and procedures, ensuring audit-proof documentation.

• Contribute to the creation of efficiencies in the month-end close cycle, aiming to decrease process closing time.

• Support the preparation of schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audits, researching issues, clarifying information, and preparing supporting data.

• Reconcile intercompany accounts and post eliminating journal entries.

• Handle assignments with flexibility, time management, and maturity, adapting to the fluctuating workload.

• Support the company's stated values in the areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Integrity.

• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.

• Utilize Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP effectively.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Requirements • Candidate must possess advanced skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is required

• Candidate should have strong knowledge of the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with Month End Close process is needed

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a must

• Proficiency in Oracle financial software is required

• Experience with SAP financial software is highly desirable
