Ensures completion of metal detection system tests as required and effectively communicates issues to shift lead and maintenance. Communicates to shift lead and maintenance when mechanical issues arise. Accurately completes all paperwork and delivers to supervisor at end of each shift. Maintains housekeeping and organization of salvage and HFI areas. Actively supports the injection department by assisting fellow operators with machine issues and assists with relieving fellow operators for breaks. Attends shift meetings as required. Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager. Physical Requirements Normal Vision Hearing/Listening Bending Distant Vision Talking/Speaking Standing Near Vision Hand/Finger Dexterity Sitting Stooping Pushing/Pulling Walking Climbing Carrying (>50 pounds) Kneeling Lifting ( Driving-Forklift Lifting (50+ pounds) Carrying ( About You High School graduate or equivalent. Willingness to operate a forklift and become certified. Ability to work quickly and safely complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous machine operation or related training/experience preferred, but not required. Attention to detail; specifically, prevention of resin contamination. Mechanical aptitude/ability.
