Job Title: 1st Shift Vessel Welder

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Vessel Welders with MIG and flux welding skills to join our team. This position requires passing a Code Vessel test!

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.

  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

  • Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.

  • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, Flux core, and pipe welding.

  • Ability to pass the Code Vessel test.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
