Weekend Structural Fitter Welder Position in Catoosa, OK {#weekendstructuralfitterwelderpositionincatoosaok}

Were looking for a skilled Structural Fitter Welder to join our team on the weekend shift. If you have experience with layout, fitting, and welding of structural components, and youre ready to work in a dynamic environment, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise.

What Youll Do: {#whatyoulldo}
  • Layout and Assembly:Read blueprints to plan and assemble structural components accurately.
  • Precision Work:Use tools like tape measures, squares, levels, and combination squares to align and fit parts.
  • Welding and Cutting:Set up welding machines, operate cutting torches, plasma torches, small saws, and iron machines.
  • Inspection and Quality Control:Perform thorough inspections on first articles to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Repair and Maintenance:Dismantle, straighten, reshape, and reassemble parts as needed.
  • Material Handling:Identify and select different types of materials, and manually load trucks. Forklift operation is a plus.
  • Collaboration:Work effectively with the team, maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
What Were Looking For: {#whatwerelookingfor}
  • Experience:At least 1 year of structural fitting experience preferred.
  • Certification:Must pass the American Welding Society 2G Plate Test/Welding Bureau certification.
  • Skills:Proficient in reading blueprints, performing basic math calculations, and using a variety of power tools.
