Sign-on Partnership:$1000 @ 6 months, $1000 at 1 year, $1000 at 18 months, $1000 at 2 years = $4000

Description: The Automation Technician provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Serves as the technical expert in the maintenance work activities related to automation of facility equipment. Key responsibilities include setup, teardown, troubleshooting and repair of automated, electrical and mechanical systems. Keys to success will be the individual's knowledge of automated manufacturing systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems, and the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members and internal customers.
Automation Tech Position Specific Accountabilities:
Ability to troubleshooting and repair of the following production systems:
Automation systems - Allen Bradley PLC systems Proficient in PLC5, Control Logix, SLC
Electrical systems - motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers
Mechanical systems - pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains and sprockets. Work in this area can range from 25% to 75% of work week. Driven by mechanical priorities, staffing and work orders.
Automation Tech Required Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid food handler's card from Tulsa Health Department
Technical degree or equivalent experience/training as it relates automation
Proven safety record in past work history
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, IP addresses, Network settings, etc.
Programming experience in PLC's, HMI's and SCADA
Proven experience in setup, teardown, troubleshooting and repair of automated, electrical and mechanical systems.
Math and reading comprehension to understand and interpret technical manuals, bulletins, blueprints and schematics
Automation Tech Preferred Experience:
5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
First Class Stationary Engineer license
Functional ability in basic Mig and Tig welding for repair purposes
Proficient in the use of shop machinery including mills, lathes, drill presses and normal industrial tools for repair purposes
