Description
Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to assist with various tasks related to lead management, freight determination, data entry, and lead qualification. This internship offers hands-on experience in the transportation industry, particularly in flatbed freight operations, and provides an opportunity to develop skills in business development and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Entry: Accurately enter and update leads into our CRM system.
• Flatbed Freight Determination: Assist in identifying and determining suitable flatbed freight options based on customer requirements.
• Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Lead Qualification: Assist in qualifying leads by researching potential clients, analyzing data, and providing initial assessments.
• Excel Management: Use Excel to organize data, generate reports, and perform basic data analysis.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Business Development team as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of the transportation industry, particularly flatbed freight, is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
