Robert Half is currently seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a thriving manufacturing company in Tukwila, WA on a contractual basis. Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and perform account analysis

• Assist with budget control by monitoring budgets and conducting budget comparison analysis

• Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid items, and accrual accounts

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures

• Analyze balance sheets and P& L accounts

• Comply with company policies and procedures

• Assist with tax audits and tax returns

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is heavily preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Strong attention to detail, ability to identify errors
