General Production Worker

Pay: $24/Hour

Shift: 8PM-6:30AM

Location: Kent, WA

Job Description

At the end of the production line, you will be responsible for preparing the product for shipping by taking completed packaging and loading it. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Follow the company's Good Manufacturing Processes at all times.

• Build packing boxes and/or trays for bulk products.

• Place product labels on pouches and shipping boxes as needed.

• Ensure that pouches are correctly filled and sealed.

• Pack sealed pouches into prepped shipping boxes.

• Seal loaded boxes and properly stack boxes onto shipping pallets.

• Gather ingredients and raw materials from the warehouse or pre-production storage area.

• Perform Lot Code verification.

• Inspect and sort raw materials for quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, packaging, or general labor.

• Prior experience working in a food manufacturing facility preferred, but not required.

• Good attendance record and compliance with attendance policy.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to work safely around/with automated and semi-automated machinery.

• Ability to work safely around food allergens such as tree nuts, dairy, and soy.

• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates with dishwashing experience who are open to learning a new skill are encouraged to apply.

• Understanding the importance of punctuality.

Work Environment

The work environment may get hot if you are working in the roasting room. There are filtered water dispensers available throughout the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
