Job Responsibilities:
Order Taking
Listen and ask questions.
Confirm the order by asking the customer to check it while you read it back to them. You are responsible to make sure that the customer's order is written up for correct items and in the correct quantities. This means that you must anticipate problems and solve them in advance.
Order/Quote Processing
Research special order items: find the source, our cost and figure customer's price when the computer doesn't do it automatically.
Input emailed-in or faxed-in orders and requests for quotations.
Prepare bids and quotes for sending to customer.
Maximize Orders
Present a product on every order.
Solicit customer feedback and record information for managers to review.
Suggest HART Brand products (less expensive alternates) to customers.
Other CSR Duties
Resolve all customer problems within guidelines and such that it is a win for both the customer and the company.
Provide information to customers concerning backorders and anticipated shipping dates per procedure.
Help other customer service people as needed to keep the department meeting its goals and deadlines.
Inside Sales
Identify other suppliers that customers have been ordering from
Offer to send samples and specs on comparable products
Outbound follow-up calls on leads based on recent large purchases
Follow-up on Marketing-related initiatives
Triage of incoming service call cancellations
Job Details:
Payrate: $26-$31/hr. (DOE)
DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY -- including comprehensive benefits package
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday thru Friday)
Full-time in-office role (100% onsite)
Must be fully vaccinated and a non-smoker
Commute needs to be reasonable
Candidate Requirements:
2+ years in a similar B2B role, preferably in heavy phone support
People skills with an emphasis on communications, planning, and accountability
Customer focus as it relates to listening, servicing, supporting, and satisfying customer requirements.
Detail oriented with the capability of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
A passion for learning and for asking questions when in doubt about how to proceed.
A balanced ego, with enough self-confidence to speak up, ask questions, drive results; but humble enough to enjoy giving credit, transferring knowledge, and developing others.
Intense focus on goals, deadlines, and results.
