Description

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be involved in various tasks including account reconciliation, accounts payable, check runs, coding invoices and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate data entry and invoice processing

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and verify all financial records for accuracy

• Conduct account reconciliations promptly and accurately

• Prepare and execute check runs as per schedule

• Implement coding of invoices in accordance with established guidelines

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Keep records up-to-date and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to quickly and accurately balance accounts.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating a solid understanding of the complete AP process.

• Familiarity with Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

• Capability of Coding Invoices, correctly identifying and applying relevant costs.

• Strong Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing, including the ability to manage, organize, and track invoices effectively.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced features.

• Practical knowledge of Oracle, with the ability to navigate and use the system efficiently.

• Experience with QuickBooks, demonstrating the ability to manage financial tasks and reporting.
