This role is remote Monday - Friday 8-5. In this position you will support business development efforts through data mining and the creation of dashboards that measure the BD team's impact on patient referral volume, financial contributions, and market expansion.

• Day in the life:

• Data Review & Monitoring

• Check automated data updates from EHR, CRM, and finance systems.

• Identify anomalies, troubleshoot data issues, and verify accuracy.

• Data Analysis & Insights

• Investigate key trends (e.g., provider retention, leakage reduction).

• Provide BD team with data-driven recommendations.

• Prepare reports summarizing BD contributions and opportunities.

• Dashboard Development & Collaboration

• Optimize Power BI/Tableau dashboards based on user feedback.

• Meet with BD and leadership teams to discuss insights and strategy.

• Coordinate with IT and Finance to enhance data pipelines.

• Planning & Alignment

POSITION SUMMARY

This position plays a critical role in transforming the Business Development team’s operations through strategic data insights, advanced analytics, and marketing innovation. This highly specialized role focuses on optimizing business development strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. The incumbent will lead data automation initiatives, implement predictive models, and contribute to long-term strategic goals. This position requires advanced expertise in data analytics, database management, and the ability to work cross-functionally to improve business performance. This position is a hybrid work model, with flexibility for remote and in-office collaboration.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Spearhead the design, optimization, and implementation of data structures, machine learning models, AI-driven insights, and predictive analytics to support business development efforts and drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.

2. Work closely with senior leadership, business development, IT, marketing, and service line teams to define KPIs, develop scalable data-driven solutions, and ensure alignment of data strategies with organizational goals and business initiatives.

3. Drive improvements in data governance by enhancing data structure design, maintaining documentation and standards, and ensuring data accuracy and quality control across systems.

4. Evaluate and improve business processes through data flow analysis, process mapping, and gap identification, with a focus on continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence and enhance overall efficiency.

5. Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports that translate complex data findings into actionable business insights, presenting them to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders to drive key business decisions.

6. Oversee the integration and optimization of marketing and analytics technologies, including Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce, collaborating with IT and vendors to ensure alignment with business needs and seamless adoption across systems.

7. Track and analyze business performance across multiple areas, including referral growth, market positioning, and operational efficiency, using data to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue generation, and strategic decision-making.

8. Monitor and optimize business development campaigns, driving referral growth, improving retention, and generating demand. Provide senior leadership with data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions that enhance market presence and expand network reach.

9.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with rapid turnaround times, adjusting priorities as business needs evolve, and ensuring successful execution of high-impact projects while maintaining focus on key business goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of business analytics as normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics, or related field.

Must demonstration a strong understanding of data analysis, business intelligence, or business development, with a track record of implementing data-driven strategies as normally obtained through four or more years of experience.

Strong proficiency in SQL, database management, and data automation. Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce) and familiarity with marketing technologies like Salesforce PRM and Marketing Cloud.

Deep understanding of business development and healthcare operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities. Skilled at managing evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment and delivering high-quality results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Background as an analyst preferred in larger complex healthcare systems, business development, business operations, or marketing.

Preferred skillset includes ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Expertise in extracting and interpreting data insights.

Advanced skills in Excel and coding for data manipulation. Strong abilities to analyze data and make informed decisions. Clear verbal and written skills, with attention to detail. Experience in managing projects and conducting research. Skilled in presenting data and using business intelligence tools.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
