Our diverse, energetic, and collaborative team offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic growth-oriented environment in support of Test Equipment, Machinery and Capital Non- Product, which manages the equipment procurements for multiple mission areas. You will foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You Will Do:

• Preparation and issuance of RFP’s

• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions)

• Place purchase orders of low/medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements

• Manage all post award activities (follow-up delivery, invoice approvals/schedules, invoice/receiving issues, and close-outs)

• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc) to achieve objectives

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers

• Must be able to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and IPT decisions

• Capability to lead formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

• Able to support travel as needed (up to 15%)

This role is onsite at a Raytheon facility within the U.S.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of prior relevant experience OR An Advanced Degree.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field

• Project planning and management skills (ex: MS Project, EVMS)

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and in an organized manner, with strong customer service focus in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment

• Procurement knowledge/experience

• Experience with price and cost analysis

• SAP based environment experience

• Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or working to stringent process and regulations

• Assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
