Job Summary:

The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization is looking for an Associate Director, Supply Chain Lead. The candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team and managing a dynamic and complex organization.

They will lead the Material Program Manager personnel assigned to the program areas and are responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies, proposals & program execution within the portfolio. The position requires the ability to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the product lines and their PMO.

What You Will Do:

• Accountable for Supply Chain cost, schedule, and quality

• Managing MPMs supporting the Portfolio of programs

• Manage, develop and lead SC proposal activities including task descriptions and BOEs.

• Forecast and execute material sales Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

• Lead the execution of the MPS (Material Program Strategy) and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance, from the front end of the business through contract closure.

• Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies.

• Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs·

• Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility

• Experience and interest in verbal/visual presentations of OSC activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and USG Customers.

• Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, international issues, material forecasting, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

• Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.

• Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams.

  Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience leading personnel and teams in matrixed organizations as a collaborative leader that shares program information and requirements to enable success.

• Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal management.

• Good interpersonal skills to influence and manage cross functional tasks.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

• Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and applications.

• Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
