Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in relevant Engineering discipline
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to use MS Office applications (email, Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve complex technical problems and communicate in clear simple terms
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues with minimal direct supervision
Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering analysis (stress, FEA, fatigue) and apply problem-solving methods to support new product development and/or sustaining production of existing designs
- Assist in the creation & review new designs for conformance to customer requirements & and proper application of engineering principles
- Apply, evaluate, and optimize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to facilitate inspection and manufacturing
- Write test plans and test reports in support of new programs to demonstrate compliance to customer specifications
- Interact with customers to clarify design intent and technical requirements
- Maintain accurate, orderly project records, including design and test data, customer specifications, directives, etc.
- Provide assistance in the development technical proposals, cost estimates & schedules for non-recurring engineering activities
- Direct designers & drafters in design concepts and optimization to meet strict deadlines
- Provide assistance on development and qualification test programs
- Provide assistance in the form of engineering analysis to engineering representatives on the Material Review Board (MRB) to facilitate disposition of non-conforming products

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
- Supports Quality Engineers in the design, implementation, maintenance and perpetuation of Process Controls.
- Working with the QEs, develops process and receiving inspection methods creation, enhancements and maintenance, documents and standardizes work instructions.
- Develops error proofing devices and proposes product design changes based on pFMEA, Inspection results and DFM/DFA analysis.
- Conduct inspection correlation studies and enhance feedback system between Sargent inspection and supplier.
- Work with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering to ensure both legacy and development drawings can be inspected as dimensioned.
- Applies structured, disciplined and well documented approach to CI, Problem Solving and QE projects.
- Designs processes to collect and analyze data, create report and publish reports under the direction of QEs.
- Supports QE in daily, weekly and monthly tasks always looking for more efficient ways to complete.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Manufacturing
Engineer Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing production processes with all required technical needs.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes by deploying product and manufacturing method enhancements.
- Determine product and process manufacturing flow and sequences, material and labor requirements, and quality inspection points.
- Create and maintain manufacturing routers and processes
- Must be able and willing to work extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks
