Sargent has an immediate opening for an CNC Machinery Maintenance Tech I.
Purpose and Scope
This position provides entry level equipment and preventative maintenance support on production equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform documented basic PMs on equipment.
Execute projects assigned, with guidance, on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or basic troubleshooting.
Assist other Maintenance Techs on advanced PM’s and equipment troubleshooting.
Track maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Perform coolant tank PM’s and oil skimmer PM’s.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read and write English
Demonstrated use and understanding of basic hand tools
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is required to push/pull, and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled
Work on feet for entire shift
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Ensures all maintenance actions are accomplished in a safe and timely manner
Team oriented
Preferred Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
CNC equipment operation – Mills, Lathes, Hones
Experience working on mechanical systems
