The AIM-9X Program, a program within Raytheon Naval SBU, is seeking a deputy program manager for all developmental and integration activities for the program. This position will report directly to the AIM-9X Development and Integration Program Manager. The PM will be responsible for leading and organizing all development and integration tasks from the earliest stages (Request for Proposal and/or Rough Order of Magnitude request), through contract execution and contract closure. This role includes coordinating, leading, and effective collaboration across multiple business areas and functions, as well as customer interfaces as part of working groups and program reviews.

What You Will Do:

• Organizing and directing a team to execute business objectives associated with all developmental and integration actions for the AIM-9X missile and associated technology. Areas included:

• Advanced hardware and software development

• Missile Integration and Test

• System Improvement Program (SIP) execution

• USG sponsored demonstrations and evaluations

• Work with Functional leads to effectively staff contracted work with proper skill sets and staffing levels to meet business and financial objectives

• Lead / manage proposal activities (to include Basis of Estimate creation and reviews)

• Lead / oversee Program Reviews, to include required contractual EV reporting requirements, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings

• Management and leadership duties associated with direct reports

• Budget responsibilities to include managing and reporting EACs, NBI, and Risk & Opportunities

• Ability to travel as needed

• SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 year’s prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience

• Experience with project and/or program management

• Experience in complex Hardware Designs and low-level development.

• Cyber Security/Systems Security experience

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and DoD acquisition processes

• Experience working with cross-functional or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

• An active and in-scope Secrete US Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred)

• Excellent communication including presentation skills, delivering technical information to leaders or customers

• Hardware Development, Software Development, System Integration and Test, or System Verification

• Change agent; able to energize organizations to achieve beyond expectations

• Independently complete complex assignments and develop creative cross mission area solutions

• Previous experience with Gate Reviews, especially Gates 2 thru 4

• EVMS, Risk and Opportunity Management, IMP/IMS

• MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS Project; collaboration tools such as OneIDE and eRoom

• Program Management best practices and IPDS

• Customer relations and exposure to senior leadership, internally & externally

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
