Georgia Transmission External Funding Compliance Manager in Tucker, Georgia

The External Funding Compliance Manager will lead identification and fit of government funding programs, own the application process, negotiate appropriate funding agreements, itemize reporting requirements and ensure compliance, develop internal controls, foster stakeholder engagement, and maintain accurate documentation for reporting. The Manager will have overall responsibility in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing government funding programs relevant to the organization. The Manager will engage with all levels of GTC and routinely report to GTC's Executive Management Team on grant/subsidized loan program applications, grant projects, and compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the electric utility industry and/or regulatory

Equivalent Experience: A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy in work, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high ethical standards and willingness to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities. Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple large and complex projects at the same time. Ability to support teams across the organization.
