Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk who has a strong experience in inventory control and cycle counting. The ideal candidate should possess excellent computer skills and a commitment to executing all duties in a safe manner. This role involves verifying inventory locations and amounts, performing picking and product verification, packaging, and shipping of both domestic and international shipments. The position requires collaboration with various teams including shipping, manufacturing, quality, management, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and verification of inventory locations and amounts.

• Utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) for various tasks.

• Execute all duties in a safe manner.

• Perform picking and product verification, packaging, and shipping of domestic and international shipments.

• Request spot quotes for shipping when necessary and enter tracking information into the system.

• Trace shipments as required.

• Schedule pickups with Freight Forwarders and common carriers, and follow up as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with the shipping team, manufacturing, quality, management, and sales.

• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

• Perform additional tasks within the shipping team as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory control and cycle counting.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work at a brisk pace in a 100% standing and walking job.

• Strong computer skills.

• Fluency in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, stockroom, shipping, and receiving.

• Familiarity with RF systems and pallet jacks.

• Good experience in pick/pack inventory selecting work.

• Ability to accurately count inventory.

• Wearing steel-toed boots is required.

• Ability to perform well on a material handler test (basic counting, math, inventory questions).

Work Environment

You will be working in a lean manufacturing, kan-ban, production cell environment with ESD protocol. The shipping team is a very tight-knit group, and we are looking for someone with a flexible personality who can integrate well into the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
