Robert Half Financial Analyst in Tualatin, Oregon

Description

Jana Chapman with Robert Half is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opportunity in the Tualatin, OR area. The selected candidate will be primarily involved in the financial operations of our organization, focusing on cost analysis, profitability, and financial audits. This role will also require the development and modification of financial models to gain a deeper understanding of business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and preparation of financial reporting related to operations, costing, and profitability.

• Provide support during month-end close, financial audits, and inventory audits.

• Utilize accounting software systems to facilitate efficient business operations and deeper insights into business performance.

• Develop, modify, and update financial models to support business decision-making processes.

• Conduct weekly reviews and analyses of company financial records, including general ledger entries, job cost, variance to standards, and present findings to the leadership team.

• Contribute to the completion of monthly reconciliations of revenue and inventory, and specific P& L accounts during month-end close.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present findings to the leadership team.

• Assist in financial planning activities, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets.

• Manage capital expenditure processes at sites, including maintaining capital project logs and reporting capital spend and variance to budget to key stakeholders.

• Work cross-functionally on ad-hoc projects to support business operations and strategies.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiar with all Accounting Functions

• Skilled in Accrual Accounting

• Experience with Budget Processes and Capital Management

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas

• Ability to communicate effectively with Business Partners

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
