Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in Trussville, Alabama. The Bookkeeper will be accountable for a wide range of responsibilities, including General Ledger (GL) knowledge, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handling General Ledger tasks and maintaining accurate financial records

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

• Processing payroll and ensuring all payroll transactions are accurate

• Utilizing ECMS – a proprietary system for various financial tasks

• Performing job costing and ensuring all job costs are accurately recorded

• Conducting account reconciliation and bank reconciliations

• Overseeing month-end close processes

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and bookkeeping tasks

• Managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries and monitoring customer credit accounts.

Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Proven skills in Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Payroll procedures
