We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Trumbull, Connecticut. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity within the non-profit sector. The HR Manager will oversee a variety of functions such as payroll, recruitment, compliance, and onboarding. Furthermore, the role requires a good understanding of employment law and the ability to train newer team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract, permanent, and retain a high-quality workforce. • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. • Oversee the onboarding process to provide a positive experience for new hires. • Conduct thorough investigations and provide resolutions when needed. • Coach and mentor HR team members to enhance their detail oriented growth. • Travel as required to oversee operations in various locations. • Utilize HR software and systems for efficient and effective HR operations.

Requirements

• Experience working for a Non-Profit a plus

• Knowledge and experience in handling Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Demonstrated experience in ensuring Compliance and managing Employee Relations.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite

• Proven track record in Human Resources (HR) Administration.

• Experience in using various Human resources software.

• Understanding of Employment Law

• Proven experience in managing Onboarding and Benefits Administration processes.
