Position: Quality Assurance Technician II - HYBRID Reports To: Senior Manager, Customer Care Locations: Based in Grafton, Wisconsin; Tipp City, Ohio; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin HQ- HYBRID KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Transactional support role for defective products in the field or in customer facilities Work with sales team, plants and warehouses, and customers directly to provide an elevated level of customer service and quickly resolve customer inquiries Order entry of product return authorization, no charge replacements, and credit orders primarily supporting warranty and quality processes Coordinate with customers the return of samples or lot rejections to enable continuous improvement Assist Accounts Receivable to research and close warranty related check deductions With a keen eye for detail, ensure that return/credit orders are entered such that credit/deduction matches Participate in team process improvements, such as system conversation testing, kaizen events, and feedback Research return goods request and issue return authorizations according to Return Goods Policy Track return authorizations and issue appropriate credit and/or denials Perform basic research for customer claims and returns Review debit information, make direct calls to customers to obtain missing information, also make determination to process credit or issue a denial Write credits and debits.
