Unity House Housing Coordinator Domestic Violence Program in Troy, New York

If you are passionate about advocating for others, please apply for this opening in Unity House of Troy’s Domestic Violence Program to assist those in need of safe, affordable housing.

Position is eligible for a $750 sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

Coordinate caseloads for a permanent supported housing.

Provide case management service for clients by ensuring services are attained and fit the needs of the client.

Provide crisis intervention as needed

Provide supportive counseling to clients.

Transport consumers as needed.

Assist other employees in the DV program to make sure

Promote an environment of belonging and inclusion.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field and at least 1 year experience working with victims of domestic violence. Associates degree or High School diploma with 3 years experience. Must have reliable transportation and valid/clean NYS driver license. Ability to work flexible schedule as required. Ability to use a computer. Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
