Blue Chip Talent, Inc. has an opening for the position of Vehicle System Test Engineer (Ref# VSTE1111SV).
Work Location: 150 Stephenson Hwy. Troy, MI 48083.
Job Duties: Analyze low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) radio transmissions for vehicle systems. Inspect the CAN and LIN signals from Radio Frequency Hub Module (RHFM) and antennae. Determine the LF/RF signal leakage and implement the thresholds by tuning the vehicle. Perform trace analysis of CAN and LIN using interface tools including CANoe and CANalyzer. Ensure executability of the system test along with the project plan. Develop systems test specification, with traceability from systems test cases to the unique systems requirements to ensure full test coverage of all the system interfaces and stakeholder requirements. Support the distribution of the system test environment. Support vehicle integration with OEM teams to integrate active safety sensors including ultrasonic sensors and cameras. Align the system test specification with the function manager. Approve the execution of the system test cases. Prepare the system test report. Support the closing of the system test activities. Perform and participate in peer document (e.g., test plan, test specifications) reviews. In case of deviations, escalate to the System Test Lead and provide adequate information and proposals for decision making. Execute vehicle level testing to cover requirements attributed as such. Perform smoke test, regression test, and full validation on vehicle level. Execute test drives to validate end user ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features. Report issues found via defect management tools. Perform DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) according to customer requirements. Support the innovation and development of alternative test solutions to existing strategy. Use of CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL scripts, IBM DOORS, JIRA, and Python.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years in a related occupation including Systems Engineer or related automotive experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with CAN/LIN, CANalyzer, CAPL scripts, and JIRA. 40hrs/week.
