Aptiv Corporation Software Engineer in Troy, Michigan

Aptiv seeks a Software Engineer in Troy, MI.

Duties: Design, develop, and validate automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and lane keep assist in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety. Perform AUTOSAR embedded software configuration for Basic Software Layer (BSW), Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL), Run-Time Environment (RTE) and Software Component (SWC), NVM, OS etc. as per project requirements. Perform OEM base input file integration such as DBC, CDD, ECU Extract, Diagnostic extract etc. as well as third party provided SIP integration. Apply embedded software and microcontroller expertise for safety products following ASPICE compliance processes for all software development lifecycle phases. Develop software for active safety production projects. Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependencies. Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality. Experience for software validation including Functional test, SW interface testing in bench. Hands-on knowledge in SWE1 to SWE6 activities including SRS, SAD, SDD, integration testing etc. Triage issues reported by internal/external stakeholders.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Additionally, requires 5 years of experience with: Autosar CAN communication Stack, RTE, Autosar OS and SWC integration, DBC,CDD, ECU Extract, System extract in Vector Davinci configurator, BSW stack configuration and Integration, and Automotive Ethernet Stack. ADAS domain, understanding of Agile methodologies and ASPICE environment. Vector tools such as Vector DaVinci configurator, Vector DaVinci developer, CANoe, CANApe, JIRA, GIT, SVN, Plastic, and RTC. Triaging issues and debug on ECUs with the help of debugger (Trace32, Greenhill). Infineon Aurix 2G and Renesas Microcontrollers. Software functional testing, Integration testing and Unit testing. SWE1 to SWE6 process compliance. Embedded coding, Functional safety aspects as per industry standards (Misra, ISO26262).
